Luxurious Villa and Windmill in Antiparos
Seafront property, private chapel and sea-water pool
In a prime location on a cape just outside the famous village Sorros, this 3-storey villa connects through a huge terrace with a 11 x 6 meter sea-water pool to a totally restored windmill accommodating up to 14 guests in total - ideal for families, groups or weddings.
Apart from generous amenities such as ample sitting areas, a BBQ area and a traditional outdoor oven where you can bake your own bread, the villa even has its own traditional church. Each floor of the villa is totally independant with an external staircase, a kitchen on 1st and 2nd floor, en-suite bathrooms and spacious balconies, yet the villa is only rented as one unit including the windmill to guarantee total privacy.
The Villa
The ground floor of the villa consists of a cozy living room and a comfy dining room, surrounded by a spacious terrace which leads to the mesmerizing sea. A modern kitchen and a guests’ bathroom, as well as 2 double bedrooms, each with bathrooms ensuite will ensure an autonomous stay and absolute privacy, in case it is desired.
A stairway leads to the first floor, which is surrounded by large windows and balconies, overlooking the Aegean Sea. A homely living room with an amazing view will capture your heart, in combination with the romantic bedroom with a bathroom ensuite.
The second floor has a master bedroom with a private bathroom, surrounded as well by a spacious balcony. Despite the bedroom it also has a small office area, surrounded by windows that look over the Aegean.
One thing that will be unforgettable from your stay is the panoramic view to the sea, from each corner of the villa thanks to its gracious location, on a cape. In addition to the above mentioned, the villa is built honoring the traditional Cycladic architecture: white meets blue, representing the color of the sea and the sky, blending with wood and the beautiful Greek stone flooring. Each room has its own adorable personality through a plethora of selected colors. The proximity to the sea and the blue & white colors are persued by a nautical decoration of the interior. The villa owner, a passionate artist, utilizes fruits and souvenirs of the sea to discreetly remind us of the inevitable presence of the Aegean.
The terrace and the balconies have large built-in tables, a technotropy met in the Aegean isles, so that you can enjoy your morning coffee or a candlelight dinner under the stars.
Following the stairs down from the terrace and towards the sea, one finds two additional guest rooms, each with bathrooms ensuite and gorgeous views which are able to sleep 2 and 3 people.
The Windmill
The windmill, which actually is a real windmill that could produce a variety of products based on wind power, is the jewel of the property.
The ground floor consists of living room that can easily become a bedroom for 3 people as well as a kitchen and a bathroom.
On the first floor there is a master bedroom with a private bathroom.
Not only the view to the sea is idyllic but also the view to the roof of the windmill, where you can observe all the wooden details that make the windmill work.
The Church
The latest addition to the gorgeous house is a privately-owned, picturesque, little church, built by the Cycladic architecture rules, right by the sea.
