Large Villa with Pool overlooking the Caldera
Unique Location, Privacy, Ample Space
The Caldera, the cliff of the volcanic crater, is the prime spot attracting millions of visitors each year. The houses clinging to the edge of the cliff are considered the ultimate location because of the jaw-dropping view, but this villa beats it all because of a rare detail that you will only notice if you know Santorini. Unlike other accommodations, this large villa boasts a level of privacy that is hard to find elsewhere on Santorini. The setting of this former convent (built around 1720) and the garden with mature trees (another unique sight along the Caldera) shelter from curious eyes and create an atmosphere of serenity. The view, stretching across the entire crater from world famous Oia in the North to Akrotiri in the South, changes colour throughout the day creating a mesmerizing scenery for unforgettable family reunions or parties for large groups of friends.
The villa stretches over four levels and consists of two separate and autonomous villas that can accommodate up to 18 people in total.
Each house has a separate entrance, living-room, dining area, kitchen and sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms, thus allowing for separate rentals, but the full glory of this residence is enjoyed when renting the entire property. Even at maximum capacity, the luxurious villa offers plenty of space for people to spread out and find their favorite corner to enjoy the serenity, never-ending-view and the mediterranean sun glittering on the Aegean Sea.
The rooms and studios are spacious, flooded with sun light and tastefully decorated. The old stone walls remind of the villa's history and give this property a cozy touch that newly built houses can not produce. The property features traditional Cycladic architecture, famous for its uniqueness and charm, white marble both indoors and on the terraces and beautiful flowers set colourful highlights to the extensive blue and white of the island.
The villa is ideal for large groups or friends who are looking for a spacious and quiet residence just a short walk to the island's capital, where a multitude of shops, restaurants, bars, and museums can be found, and Santorini's extraordinary archeological sites and stunning beaches are short drive away.
It should also be noted that the staff speaks English, French, Russian and Greek.
