Personal Review

This villa has a great location. It towers over the bay of Platanias with it's beautiful sandy beaches, cafes and taverns, Skiathos town & port on the left and Troulos as well as Koukounaries to the right. The elevated location, the vegetation and the sea breeze are worth more than gold when the temperature in  Skiathos city doesn't go below 30°C even at night.

Distances are not far on the island, be it a sandy beach, town, tavernas or shops - everything is in easy reach.

The property is well maintained, surrounded by pine forest and wild herbs and accessible only by an electronically controlled gate. A variety of wonderfully fragrant flowers and trees complement the mesmerizing scent of the pine trees. A private vegetable garden provides fresh ingredients throughout the summer for exquisite Greek dishes. Through the helipad on the property you can reach Athens in no time if need be.

You enter this villa on the middle level and right next to the entrance is the kitchen and a guest toilet on the right. On the left is a double bedroom and a staircase to the lower floor. In the further course you get into the living room with the extremely high ceiling which ensures pleasant temperatures and air flow even in midsummer. At the other end of the living room, a staircase leads to the upper floor. Half way there is still a mezzanine floor with a sofa bed where two people can sleep very comfortably.

On the upper floor is the "Master" bedroom and the corridor to two further bedrooms. All have their own bathroom en-suite and all rooms have air conditioning. The bathroom of the master bedroom has a jacuzzi, another bathroom has a bath and the third has a shower.

On the ground floor (down the stairs next to the entrance) is another bedroom with en-suite bathroom and in the further course is a door that leads to the garage.

The good fairy of the house is a very nice and helpful woman of Asian origin. Unless otherwise agreed, she lives in the house and takes care of your well-being. She prepares breakfast and keeps the house clean.

The landlord has a motorboat which you can rent together with captain to discover the remote beaches and secret paradises of the island. A day trip with someone who knows the island so well, I highly recommend.

Due to its location, this villa is ideal for friends or families who would like to experience the hustle and bustle of summer, but prefer to retire to a quiet and luxurious home and enjoy the fresh air soaked in pine scent.
