A three bedroom traditional stone farmhouse in the beautiful and culturally preserved village of Livadia was refurbished into a modern contemporary space.  Using the existing ancient stonework as a frame and maintaining the dominant rock features we set out to create a tasteful, minimal, cutting edge interior to ingeniously combine old and new.  The house is comprised of 3 independent spaces; each with its own mood and atmosphere—and all with a sense of drama.  To offset the stone, the furniture is sleek, playful and custom-built for the space.  The garden is our pride and joy, with numerous patios and sitting and dining areas ideal for enjoying magical summer nights, evening dinners and drinks.

This is a hangout house, perfect for active people, adventurers and extroverts who don’t mind walking as the property is not directly on a main road, but two minutes up a narrow, village path that features a few stairs. The village itself is as authentic and charming as it gets, tiered into the hillside and at the start of the famous hiking trail 17 that takes you to the gorgeous Panachrandos Monastery.

In the other direction a 20 minute walk gets you to the busy town of Chora, making this a great location for your holidays in Andros as it offers both proximity to the island’s main hub, but also seclusion and privacy for rest and relaxation.

A great house too for cooks as it has three separate cooking areas and very well equipped facilities for food preparation and entertaining.
